3 现在分词作状语

请问老师老师，then和later能不能放在现在分词状语里面？是不是用现在分词作状语了就不宜加上then,later这类表示时间不同步的副词？因为要求分词和主句动作几乎同时发生。He ate bad fruits, having stomachache 3 hours later. 或者He ate bad fruits, then having stomachache.例子不一定准确，我只是想知道表示时间不同步的副词比如 then,later 能不能用到现在分词中。谢谢老师。

这二个句子中的分词使用都是错误的。原因就是你已经理解的，分词动作与谓语动作没有同时性，也不是二个衔接的动作。

当然可以了，要看你想要表达的意思，语境很重要。例如： He sat there, drinking a glass of wine and then sipping tea.
