不多余，不能删！ 删掉后意思正好反了：
the main or principal thought dependent one or more subordinate thoughts：主句的意思依附于从句的意思（误）

it 指代前面的 the main or principal thought, 后面的部分是独立主格结构，原本是系表结构（倒装），我用（is）暗示。
