及物动词加介词短语的疑问
He lay on the bed，为什么不可以he lay the bed. 不是及物动词后面可以直接接宾语吗？不接介词。 还有remain只有不及物，为什么可以remain continue....... 后面可以接动词？ 可以动词加动词？

网友把不及物动词 lie （躺着）和及物动名词 lay （放置）混淆在一起了。
比较（注意时态）：
He will lie on the bed. 他将要躺在床上。
He lay on the bed. 他曾躺在床上。
He has lain on the bed. 他在床上趟过了。
He will lay the bed. 他要铺床。
He laid the bed. 他铺了床。
He has laid the bed. 他已铺好了床。
