Class is over. 下课了。
We’ll go home when the class is over. 上完课我们就回家。
这两句中为什么第一句用的是 class is over，而第二句却的是 the class is over？为什么一个用定冠词，一个又不用定冠词呢？

在We’ll go home when the class is over. 中，the class指“这节课”，属于特指，所以用定冠词。如果表示一般情况说“上完课我们就回家。 ”英语是：We go home when classes are over.
