英语年代的读法（如1900, 2008, 2017等的读法）

请问一下，英语中的年代，如1900, 2008, 2017 等，口语中应该如何读？

年份的读法：

1900： nineteen hundred

2000: two thousand

2008: two thousand and eight.

1905: nineteen əʊ five

2017: twenty seventeen

985 A.D.: nine eighty-five A.D.

赞同两位老师的解答，仅补充一下：在英国，澳洲，2017人们现在习惯上还是读作two thousand and seventeen. 只是英国BBC读作twenty seventeen. 在美国，现在很多人读two thousand seventeen.

日期和年份的读法（等号后面为读法）：

30 March 1993 = March the thirtieth , nineteen ninety-three ( 美国英语也说 March thirtieth ...)或 the thirtieth of March , nineteen ninety-three

1200 = twelve hundred

1305 = thirteen hundred and five 或 thirteen O five

1498 = fourteen ( hundred and ) ninety-eight

1910 = nineteen ( hundred and ) ten

1946 = nineteen ( hundred and ) forty-six

2000 = two thousand

2005 = two thousand and five
