in the team 与 on the team 有何区别？老师说是美国英语与英国英语的区别，美国英语用 on，英国英语用 in，是这样吗？请问英语中有哪引起短语用 in 和 on 都可以，只是属于美国英语与英国英语的区别？谢谢！

在以下搭配中，用介词on还是介词in与英国英语和美国英语有关：

in the street (英) / on the street (美) 在街上

in the road (英) / on the road (美) 在路上

in the team (英) / on the team (美) 在这个队

at the weekend (英) / on the weekend (美) 在周末

at weekends (英) / on weekends (美) 在周末

实际上这个问题挺有意思的，似乎手到擒来的问题，说起来不难，但是却又一下说不准确，譬如，on在初中英语中经常考查的一个知识点就是on表达“……的一员”=a member of...，on the team实际上就是on的这个用法。再例：on the club / committee / jury, etc.
我还要再找找有关in的例子。
